According to the HSE, £15 billion is the estimated cost for the injuries and ill health from working conditions within 2016/2017.
That’s quite a staggering figure, right?
Many workplaces try their best to follow the correct procedures for health and safety, but the question is, how many actually know the basics?
Being fully trained on the basics of health and safety can not only save a company from massive insurance payouts, but more importantly, it ensures that employees are safe working in their day to day surroundings.
Luckily at MP Skills, we offer the IOSH Working Safely course, a course which absolutely anyone can attend to improve their health and safety.
The course is ideal for introducing why health and safety is so vital. It’s designed to show how everyone can make a difference to their own wellbeing, and that of others through everyday behaviours. The course is engaging, interactive, and focuses on best practice rather than legislation.
We provide the knowledge and tools required to work safely, ensuring delegates can define hazards and risks, identify common hazards, and improve overall safety performance.
This course is also recognised by CSCS as equivalent to a Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment. It also helps to improve organisation-wide safety awareness, culture and appreciation of safety measures and enhances the organisation’s reputation within the supply chain and it is an internationally recognised certification for employees.
Successful completion of the course leads to an IOSH Working Safely Certificate.
