Approved QCF/SVQ/NVQ Assessment Centre
The Approved Assessment Centre was established to help businesses when they wanted their staff to achieve occupationally relevant NVQs.
What do we do?
The Approved Assessment Centre primarily offers QCFs and SVQs relevant to the operations in the extractive and mineral products industries., i.e, for mobile and fixed plant operatives, drilling operatives, supervisors, managers and senior managers. As the range of QCF vocational qualifications increases the Approved Assessment Centre will ensure that clients have an efficient organisation with which they can register their candidates for such awards. We deliver bespoke assessment programmes including learner support interventions, if required.

- Learning and Development (including Instructor and Assessor Awards)
- Plant Operations (Extractives)
- Processing Operations for the E&MPI
- Blasting Operations
- Drilling Operations
- Weighbridge Operations
- Health, Safety and Environmental Management in the Extractive and Mineral Processing Industries – SHE Award
- Road Building
- Highways Maintenance
How?
Firstly, by reference to the MPQC office to discuss what the needs are and agree appropriate arrangements for the candidates to register for appropriate awards.
Where?
The location of the service will be dependent on the nature of the agreement and on how the candidates will be supported.
When?
The service will aim to be convenient to customers and can be felxible to meet your operational requirements.
